Subject: Blue green celadon (seiji) glazed ceramic pottery katabori sculptural netsuke of a Tanuki (Raccoon Dog) yokai (spirit / monster) transformed into a cast iron tea kettle, a story called Bunbuku Chagama. Pair of himotoshi (cord holes) on the unglazed underside.
