Subject: For sale is an antique Japanese Igezara ware (or piecrust edge) porcelain transferware plate, decorated with blue and white designs of peony flowers, bamboo, and a fan decorated with a mountainous landscape scene (with pine trees). Likely from the early 1900s. One stilt mark on base. Plate measures 10 1/8" in diameter and weighs 1 lb 13.3 oz. Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some defects original to manufacture, including a glazed-over chip at the edge of the plate. Scratches and wear.
