Subject: For sale is an antique Japanese Igezara ware (or piecrust edge) porcelain transferware plate, decorated with blue and white designs of peony flowers, plum blossoms, and a screen decorated with a landscape scene (with pine trees, bamboo, waves, and cranes). Likely from the early 1900s. One stilt mark on base. Plate measures 8 3/4" in diameter and weighs 1 lb 3 oz. Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some small chips to edge of plate. Scratches and wear.
