Subject: Antique Kyoto Awata Satsuma ceramic sake bottle (tokkuri) with painted designs of minogame (a dragon-like long tailed turtle) and crane (tsuru) Noh dancers, in teal, blue, gold, red, purple, black, and white. Minogame and cranes are both symbols of longevity. The color pallet, especially the teal, blue, gold, and red, is reminiscent of the Ko-Kiyomizu ware that was the predecessor for Kyo-Satsuma ware.
