Condition: Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Area around hole in back appears to possibly have an old repair (the surface color doesn't match the rest of the piece). Some surface wear.
Subject: Rare antique Bizen ware ceramic sculptural suiteki (water dropper) in the shape of a cat (neko) wearing a collar, with brown and black ash glazes. The spout is the mouth of the cat, and the water refilling hole is on the backside.
