Subject: For sale is a an antique Japanese porcelain Igezara ware platter, plate or charger. Igezara ware plates were made between 1880 - 1910. This dish is decorated with a blue and white transferware design of trees, mountains, a village, flowers, and brown scalloped edges. I have several similar plates for sale, all listed separately. This plate measures about 9 3/4" in diameter and weighs 1 lb 9 oz. Plate has a stilt mark on the base. Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Several small unglazed spots and dimples original to manufacture. Some wear and light scratches. No cracks, chips or significant damage.
