Condition: Item is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photo. Some age cracks. The nose section of the fox mask appears to have been repaired (glued) back in place at the base using red urushi lacquer. Some surface wear.
Subject: Wood katabori netsuke of a seated actor, possibly a Karako, wearing a Kitsune (Fox) mask. Pair of connected himotoshi (cord holes) in the base.
